Queenstown from Above

After a day in the sunshine we headed up the Skyline, a 750m gondola to take in the views over Queenstown. Lake Wakatipu shimmered into the distance where it meets the impenetrable wall of the Remarkables mountain range.

As the light faded Dave's face lit up as he explored all the possible camera setting to play with  - this monochrome image was one of our favourites.

No sooner had sun dropped than it was replaced by a huge orange moon. The busy town of Queenstown far below geared up for the night leaving light trails down its many streets and roads. Exhausted after a busy few days we blazed our own trail home.
